Green Room Set to Celebrate Anniversary with Special Release

05 Jun

It’s hard to believe, but Green Room Brewing will be celebrating their first year of brewing tasty beers for thirsty beach residents later this month. To celebrate, Eric Luman, brewer and co-owner, today announced a special, limited edition release. The brew is called Secret Spot Ale, aged on Maker’s Mark barrels with organic cocoa nibs and locally-roasted coffee beans the brew weighs in at 10% ABV.

The brewery will be offering these one-of-a-kind bottles at their Tap Room in Jacksonville Beach beginning at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16. Luman emphasizes that the bottles will be on a first come, first served basis and that only 900 were filled. Secret Spot will also be offered on tap in the Tap Room while the limited supply lasts.

The brewery will also be roasting a whole hog that was raised on Green Room’s spent grain. All proceeds from the pig roast will benefit Keep the Ferry.
